Since its foundation in 1950 as a contract manufacturer for the foundation garment and the automobile industries, Georg and Otto Friedrich has developed to become one of Europe's leading producers of warp knitted fabrics.
Today our company employs a staff of 75 at two production locations and at warehouses in Germany, the Netherlands, Romania and Austria. Monthly production is over 450 tons of grey (unfinished) cloth – equivalent to approximately 6 million square meters of finished fabric.
We serve customers all over the world, from Hong Kong to South Africa, from the USA to South America, and of course throughout Europe.
We are technology and market leaders in numerous fields. Through the development of new products and other innovations, we will continue to strengthen our leadership position.

Based on our over 60 years of experience in the field, we can offer you a range of products covering just about every field in which warp knitted fabrics are utilized.
Quick availability is a valuable competitive advantage nowadays, so a large number of our fabrics – some of them in over 150 colours and in various widths – can be shipped directly from stock. Our various distribution warehouses in Europe provide flexibility and shorten delivery times.
If you need a special colour or an exotic tint or shade that is not available ex stock, no problem: we will provide you the exact colour you need and keep turnaround time to a minimum.
